Australian handbag designer Jessica Sheehan, founder of ‘Sheika Designs‘ has an edgy unique style that is highly sought after in the world of Fashion.

Having returned home to Australia from London in 2003 Jessica made her way to Sydney to study at the renowned FBI Fashion College. Jessica had a vision to combine her personal style and knowledge of handbags into realising her passion to become a cutting edge designer. Work experience at the Mercedes Fashion Week in Sydney, the Shanghai International Fashion Festival in Melbourne and Shanghai, as well as other various fashion shows pathed the way for Jessica to become more driven to achieving her goal of becoming a handbag designer.

Jessica gained valuable knowledge and experience whilst working with celebrated Australian designers as well as the highly sought after International label Max Mara. It was Jessica’s dream to create a product that availed the individual the experience of not just buying a label but by owning a Sheika means they have something that typifies elegance, distinctiveness, individuality and style.

It was with this philosophy that ‘Sheika Designs’ entered the consumer market.

Jessica diligently hand stitched her first handbag and soon after began sourcing exquisite leather pieces, linings and unique handles from all over the world.
